Essence Aromathologia
PACKAGING DESIGN
A range of essential and blended oils, incense sticks, and massage oils, Essence Aromathologia is produced in the beautiful Indian township of Auroville. Made with high-quality, locally grown plant extracts these aromatherapy products are 100% natural and provide a sustainable livelihood to women from nearby villages.
Hand-drawn illustrations were developed for each essential oil that evoked the specific properties of each blend. The packaging embraced the handmade aesthetic and used locally made paper (by Auroville Press) and silk screen printing by a local vendor to achieve an earthy yet sophisticated identity that complemented the inherent qualities of the product.
