bbcon 2021 Virtual
VIRTUAL EVENT DESIGN, MOTION GRAPHICS
Blackbaud’s annual tech conference, bbcon 2021, was completely virtual and free—filled with change-making conversations and an industry-leading lineup curated for a global audience. With nearly 25,000 global registrants, 140+ breakout sessions, and tweets about #bbcon reaching over one million people, this was Blackbaud’s biggest bbcon yet.
The entire mainstage experience was reimagined to engage a virtual audience. Instead of static PPT slides, motion graphics brought the event identity to life across lower thirds, session intro slides, and callouts during mainstage talks.
Speakers were armed with an easy-to-use PowerPoint (PPT) template with pre-built slides for speaker intros, stats and callouts, section headers, images, and product screenshots. The PPT even included tips and strategies on presenting virtually—a very different speaker experience than presenting at an in-person event!
